Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you're likely wondering before (or after) you sign up.
Does CreditoHub connect to my bank account?
No. CreditoHub never connects to your bank or asks for your online banking login. You add your accounts manually and either enter transactions yourself or upload a PDF statement, which we parse to pull the transactions in for you. Nothing is fetched from your bank automatically.
Is my financial data safe?
We only ever ask for the last 4 digits of an account or card number — never the full number, CVV, or your online banking password. Uploaded PDF statements are parsed on our server and the file is permanently deleted immediately afterwards; we don't keep a copy. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
What's the difference between Free and Premium?
Free gives you 1 account, up to 3 statement uploads a month, and the basic dashboard — enough to try CreditoHub properly. Premium (RM 29.99/month) unlocks unlimited accounts and uploads, auto-categorisation rules, the budget tracker, payment pipeline, and debt strategy tools. You can see the full breakdown on the Subscribe page.
Does my subscription auto-renew?
No. Premium is billed one month at a time and does not auto-renew. When your month is up, your account simply reverts to the Free plan — nothing gets charged unless you come back and extend it yourself. There's no subscription to "cancel."
How do I pay, and is it safe?
Payments are handled by toyyibPay, a Malaysian payment gateway supporting FPX online banking and card payments. You enter your payment details directly on toyyibPay's own secure page — CreditoHub never sees or stores your card number or banking credentials.
Can I get a refund?
Since access is granted immediately on payment, Premium purchases are generally non-refundable. If you were charged in error or charged twice for the same period, contact us and we'll sort it out — see our Terms for details.
What statements can I upload?
CreditoHub reads PDF credit card and bank statements, including password-protected ones. Most Malaysian bank statement layouts parse cleanly; if a particular statement doesn't import correctly, you can always add or fix transactions manually from the Transactions page. If you hit a statement that consistently fails to parse, let us know — we're always improving support.
Is the budget/strategy advice personalised financial advice?
No. Budget suggestions and debt-repayment strategy tools are generated from the numbers you enter and are meant as general, informational guidance — not professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Use your own judgement for financial decisions, and speak to a licensed advisor for advice specific to your situation.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings from the sidebar and use the "Export Your Data" section to download your transactions, accounts, categories, and fixed expenses as CSV files, ready to open in Excel or Google Sheets.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings from the sidebar, scroll to "Delete Account," and confirm with your password. This permanently deletes your profile and financial data from our systems.
